Brunel is expanding across the Power & Utilities sector, driven by a wave of major infrastructure and energy projects across Australia. As a result, we're seeking a Principal Consultant to take the lead in building and delivering permanent recruitment solutions within this rapidly growing industry.
Based in Perth, you'll have access to an impressive portfolio of national and global accounts from day one, supported by a dedicated Business Development Manager with deep networks across power, utilities, and infrastructure.
The Opportunity
This is a senior 360 recruitment role focused on partnering with some of Australia's most respected utilities, contractors, and EPCs. You'll work across major power generation, transmission, and distribution projects — including grid modernisation, renewable integration, and large-scale infrastructure builds.
Brunel's relationships are already established — your role is to own and grow them. You'll have the autonomy to run your desk like it's your own business, with genuine support, flexibility, and backing from a global brand that's trusted in every corner of the industry.
Your Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end recruitment delivery for permanent roles within Power & Utilities.
* Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and candidates.
* Identify and pursue new opportunities within existing and emerging accounts.
* Partner with the BD Manager to strategically grow market share.
* Combine sourcing strategies to deliver best-in-class outcomes.
What You'll Get
* The best commission scheme in Australia — uncapped earnings and low thresholds.
* Immediate access to national and global client accounts.
* Flexible working and a mature, high-trust environment.
* Quarterly team events and a collaborative, performance-driven culture.
* Backing of a global recruitment brand with 100+ offices worldwide.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in permanent recruitment (engineering, utilities, or energy preferred).
* Commercial drive, relationship-building strength, and a genuine interest in the sector.
* A self-motivated, proactive mindset — you take ownership and make things happen.
