The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Field Service Representative to work as part of the team proving in-service support to the Integrated Battlefield Telecommunications Network (I-BTN) Currawong and the continued evolution of those capabilities to the Australian Defence Force. The role is based in Brisbane.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identifies, diagnoses and resolves operational issues with the I-BTN system, working collaboratively with the Defence customer and ADF end user.
- Monitors product operational performance and maintenance activities collecting technical data to make recommendations for system improvements through customer feedback.
- Support the provision and delivery of informal and ad-hoc system training to the ADF end user.
- Assist Units in reporting on system availability and other contract Key Performance Indicators.
- Understand Unit operation orders to assist the in-service Support Organisation to plan an appropriate support rate of effort.
- Provide liaison at all levels between the Defence customer, ADF end user and BDA system developers to assist with the ongoing evolution of the capability.
Experience/Qualifications
- Qualifications in Information Technology / Telecommunications or equivalent, relevant technical experience.
- Experience within a Defence or technical environment.
- Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse team, in a conscientious and inclusive way.
