Location: Various City of Stirling Libraries & Pop‑Up Libraries
Type: Part-time and casual positions available. Additionally, successful applicants may be appointed to our casual pool of library officers, to be progressed to offer upon next available vacancy.
Salary: $64,977.68 - $72,301.49 + super (based on experience) ($41.10 - $45.74 inc casual loading + super)

What You’ll Be Doing
You will:
* Deliver friendly, professional customer service at service desks
* Issue and discharge library materials and manage circulation tasks
* Shelve, shelf‑check and maintain tidy library spaces
* Assist with library opening and closing procedures
* Process memberships, stock queries, lost property and records
* Support inter‑library loans and stock distribution
* Assist with accounts, payments and basic financial processing
* Respond to enquiries in person, by phone and email
* Support customers with computers, devices and eResources
* Help prepare displays and maintain community notice boards
* Assist Librarians with reference, information and community services
* Contribute to projects and service improvements across libraries

Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
You’re customer‑focused, adaptable and enjoy working with people from all backgrounds. Ideally, you’ll bring:
* Secondary Education Certificate (essential)
* Strong commitment to customer service excellence
* Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisation and time‑management skills
* Ability to problem‑solve and prioritise competing tasks
* Confidence using Microsoft Office and online systems
* Strong digital literacy and ability to support customers with technology
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Previous library experience (desirable)
* Experience using automated library systems (desirable)
* National Police Clearance (essential)
