Our success is built on strong relationships, reliability, innovation, and outstanding service — helping our customers deliver every project with confidence.Caddy operates from a modern, purpose-built Jandakot facility with integrated offices, warehousing, and in-house fabrication, enabling efficient support for complex and technically driven projects.We are seeking a Solutions Sales Specialist to join our sales team in a proactive, technically focused role.
This position is office-based and distinct from customer service or internal sales functions, with a primary focus on outbound sales activity, technical solution development, and account growth.
Full technical training will be provided on our product ranges.Reporting to: Sales ManagerWorking Days: Monday – FridayHours: 7:30am – 4:00pmSalary: *****k AUD + superRole OverviewThis role is responsible for managing and developing customer relationships primarily via telephone and email.
You will act as a technical point of contact for customers, supporting fabrication, fire services, and engineering product solutions.The role is solution-driven and proactive in nature, rather than reactive order processing.
Occasional site visits may be required and will be supported by the Sales Manager where appropriate.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively manage and grow a portfolio of customers through outbound phone and email engagement.Provide technical advice and solution support across fabrication, fire services, and engineering product ranges.Promote Caddy's fire sprinkler pipe fabrication capabilities and engineered product solutions, including the Victaulic product range.Support specification, product selection, and value-engineered outcomes for customer projects.Identify opportunities to increase penetration within existing accounts and re-engage inactive customers.Prepare, present, and follow up quotations in collaboration with internal teams.Maintain accurate customer records, pricing, and sales activity within internal systems.Support site-based opportunities as required, attending site visits with the Sales Manager when necessary.Contribute to the wider team through collaboration, feedback, and shared market insights.Skills, Experience & AttributesExperience in technical sales, solutions sales, or proactive account management roles within fire services, mechanical plumbing, engineering, or industrial supply environments.Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand, communicate, and apply engineered solutions.Confidence engaging customers via telephone and email, with the ability to influence and build long-term relationships remotely.Strong commercial and influencing capability, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive outcomes.High-level Excel and general computer skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Strong written and verbal communication skills.A flexible, team-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute to the wider team.Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Experience with fire sprinkler systems, pipe fabrication, engineered supports, or Victaulic systems will be highly regarded.Why Join Caddy?
