About The Role
Orange is nestled in the picturesque Central Western Tablelands of NSW; it offers locals and visitors a unique blend of rural living with the culture and opportunities of a modern city.
We invite an Occupational Therapist to join the team at the Orange Health Service as a level 1‐2 permanent full‐time clinician within the General Hospital. The Occupational Therapy team is friendly and dynamic, working as part of a large multidisciplinary team committed to providing all patients with holistic, evidence‐based care that focuses on safety and engagement.
Clinicians are exposed to Acute Care (ICU, Medical, Surgical, Coronary Care), Rehabilitation, Paediatrics & Hand therapy. The service operates Monday to Friday 0800 to 1630 hours. The successful applicant will be supported by a Senior member within the department.
We seek a competent Occupational Therapist with core skills, capable of working in a fast‐paced environment, possessing strong communication and time‐management skills, competent in reporting writing (e.g. NCAT/Enable/NDIS), discharge planning, and able to manage their own wellbeing. New graduates awaiting credentialing are welcomed to apply.
