Financial Accountant Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the business through end-of-period reporting and analysis. This will involve providing advice to key stakeholders across the financial management process, policy, and frameworks.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support asset and general ledger accounting, including creating and entering journal entries.
* Perform general ledger reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
* Support the preparation of general purpose financial statements.
* Support and participate in auditing activities through the provision of timely information.
* Deliver quality management accounting services to the organization, including budgeting and financial analysis.
* Use a range of applications, including Microsoft Excel and database software, to undertake financial analysis.
About You:
You will need to have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and demonstrated knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities. Eligibility for membership into CPA Australia or CA Australia and New Zealand is also required.
