The General Surgery Department at Lismore Base Hospital seeks a highly skilled and experienced General Surgeon to lead the team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary and interdepartmental cooperation to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
* Resource Management: Manage staff, financial resources, and equipment efficiently and effectively.
* Clinical Training: Provide and support training to clinicians across relevant disciplines to ensure quality education and safe clinical practice.
The ideal candidate will have recent clinical experience in General Surgery, leadership and management expertise, effective clinical communication skills, and a commitment to teaching and continuing education. They must be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Surgeon or have international medical pathways.
