Are you a problem solver, passionate about aviation and have had experience with airline inventory and distribution systems.Do you have a solid understanding of existingEdifactinfra structureand would like to be part of theairline evolution to Offer/Order construct?Join our team as a Pricing & Inventory Solutions Specialist, whereyou'llplay a pivotal role in enabling Virgin Australia's Strategic distribution initiativesfor the now and into the future.
In this role,you'llleverageyourexpertisein pricing and inventory distribution tools to maximize revenue opportunities while delivering a seamless selling experience for our customers.
Whatwe'relooking for
* A degree in Business, Administration, or similar
* Certification in Fares and Ticketing 1 and 2 (or equivalent)
* 3+years' experience in mid senior level role in Airline Distribution
* 1+ years working in agile environments including leading agile projects and cross functional teams
* Knowledge of fare structures, rules, and ATPCO fare filing
* Strong understanding ofPricingand Inventory Controls
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proven problem-solving ability and attention to detail
* Proficiencyin Microsoft Office
* Experience in the airline or travel industry
Desirable but not essential
* Experience in travel agencies, travel management, or air product distribution
* Product owner experience
* Knowledge of GDS ticketing, Sabre Fare Manager, and Sabre Revenue Management tools
* Familiarity with revenue accounting and air fare distribution
* Proven experience working with stakeholders, and vendors like ATPCO and Sabre
* Skills in relationship management and process design
* Proficiencyin Power BI and Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
