Job Overview
The Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join their team in the Aboriginal Community of Woorabinda.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a rural/remote, indigenous community healthcare setting, providing direct care to clients and contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of health program activities.
The successful candidate will work within the multidisciplinary Community Health Team of the Woorabinda Multi-Purpose Health Service, collaborating with other professionals to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and evaluate health program activities in one of four main health program areas: Chronic Disease; Women and Child Health; Community and Public Health; Community Home Support Program (CHSP).
* Work collaboratively with the Community Health Team to provide comprehensive care to clients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.
* Further qualification or evidence of further learning relating to Community and Primary Health Care, Diabetes education, and/or Rural and Remote Nursing would be highly regarded.
