Senior Advisor – Assurance (Risk & Assurance – Sydney)
At GHD Business Advisory, we invite you to join our Risk & Assurance team as a Senior Advisor – Assurance based in Sydney. In this role you will partner with industry leaders on high‐profile assignments, innovative renewable and landmark infrastructure developments, and help clients navigate complex capital investment decisions.
Responsibilities
* Review and assess governance frameworks and strategies.
* Evaluate client's business control processes.
* Support non‐financial audits of client systems, processes and projects.
* Support assessment of client compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
* Undertake technical analysis in support of senior staff.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cost‐effective solutions to address identified risk and issues are negotiated and implemented in a timely manner.
* Contribute to the development of the strategic and operational plans for the Risk & Assurance Service line.
* Manage the planning and delivery of assignments.
* Develop internal and external networks to grow the Risk & Assurance service.
Qualifications
* Degree qualification in Business, Accounting, Finance or similar discipline; or a degree in engineering with a postgraduate qualification in business, accounting or governance.
* 7+ years industry experience in a recognised consulting, corporate or regulatory environment.
* Experience working in/on audit, governance or compliance frameworks and application to major projects.
* Excellent business acumen.
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong project management skills.
