This is an exciting opportunity for a career focussed individual to join our Deloitte Automotive practice based in Sydney. This will be a great opportunity to leverage your automotive industry knowledge and apply it through the delivery of advisory services while building relationships with clients in the automotive sector.
What will your typical day look like?
We work with dealerships, OEMs, and industry bodies to deliver insights and recommendations that improve business performance and profitability. This is through developing data insights, benchmarking, coaching, training and dealer optimisation.
In this role, you will use your leadership and industry skills to deliver projects, manage client relationships, develop and manage teams while pursuing business growth objectives and sharing a leading point of view of latest industry trends.

We are comprised of automotive experts with vast experiences across all aspects of dealer and OEM operations combined with Deloitte professionals with deep technical expertise. Our team is proud to work with OEMs, dealerships, distributors, financiers and manufacturers across Australia and New Zealand.
Within an industry that is being disrupted by regulation, new technologies, digital transformation and changing retail buyer habits, we build solutions specifically for the automotive industry, targeted at developing sustainable and long-term profitability. You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:
8+ years automotive experience – experience in senior roles required
Professional/corporate background – OEM/Distribution/Dealership Groups
Tertiary education
Experience in business development and client management
Ability to analyse dealership performance metrics in order to develop insights
Understanding of dealership processes/operations in sales and aftersales
Robust record on delivering KPIs
Highly organised individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and work across multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail
Curious nature and a willingness to learn
People management experience
Strong oral and communication skills - ability to adapt to different cultures/individuals, where one communication style will not work for all
