Overview
We are seeking a full-time Secondary English Teacher commencing on 13/04/2026 (beginning of Term 2, 2026) at Secondary School in Burwood.
Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses: St Kilda East, Caulfield South and Burwood.
We are inviting applicants with a growth mindset and a passion for lifelong learning, who are inspired and motivated to work in a contemporary learning context, to apply for the permanent (1.0) FTE full-time position of English Teacher to commence from Term 2, 2026 (13 April 2026).
We are seeking applicants who are wanting to share their love of learning, their knowledge and practice of contemporary pedagogies, and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team. Applicants must have the following:
Qualifications
* current teacher registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
* experience in teaching English (Years 7 - 12) is essential.
* a sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children.
* current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
