Anglican Diocesan Services (ADS) is the service delivery entity of the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn. We provide strategic, operational, and corporate support services that enable the Diocese, its parishes, schools, and agencies to thrive in delivering mission‑aligned outcomes for our communities.

We are seeking an experienced, values‑driven General Manager to lead ADS through its next phase of strategic development and organisational growth.

About the Role

The General Manager provides senior executive leadership across all ADS service areas, with responsibility for organisational performance, strategic planning, financial sustainability, governance, risk management, people and culture, and operational excellence.

Working closely with the Bishop, the Executive Team, and key stakeholders, this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring ADS remains agile, resilient, and focused on delivering high‑quality outcomes that support the mission and values of the Anglican Church.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the development and delivery of the ADS strategic plan
* Ensure high‑quality, compliant, and efficient operational performance across all service areas
* Strengthen governance frameworks, reporting structures, and risk oversight
* Drive financial sustainability, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning
* Foster a high‑performing, values‑aligned organisational culture

* Build strong relationships across the Diocese and with external partners

About You

You are an experienced senior leader with the ability to think strategically, engage confidently with complex organisational environments, and inspire teams to deliver high‑quality results. You bring strong governance, financial, and operational capability, as well as the interpersonal maturity and professional integrity required for a role of this significance.

You are energised by, and committed to, the Christian vision and values at the heart of ADS' mission, and you are able to actively support and uphold the Anglican ethos in the life and work of the organisation.
