Warehouse Team Member - Dispatch Storeperson
Benton Piping Systems is a multi-disciplinary services provider to the mining, maintenance, oil & gas, resource, infrastructure sectors and major supplier of piping and steel materials across Australia.
About the role
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Member and Dispatch preferably with prior warehouse experience with knowledge in pipe, tubes, fittings, structural and merchant steel to join us.
The key responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to the following):
General warehouse and workshop area maintenance and housekeeping
Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
Keep production lines supplied and fill empty containers, shelves and packaging materials as needed
Picking, packing and unpacking pallets, small and large boxes, containers and large bulk packages of products
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Assisting in all areas of the warehouse, workshop and other duties as required for ongoing operations
To be successful, candidates will ideally have the following Skills/Experience:
A strong focus on customer service
A strong commitment to OH&S and following policies and values
Must be physically fit & active to perform duties effectively
Good literacy and numeracy skills with good attention to detail
The ability to work individually and work together in a team environment
Have a positive "can do" attitude
Honest and Reliable
Previous experience in warehouse and dispatch role (1 year minimum) or in a similar role highly regarded
Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience in any warehouse, dispatch or logistics role
An open and current Driver's License
Candidates must have valid Australian work rights or a valid work visa
