We are currently seeking experienced Operation/Process Technicians with strong CIP (Carbon-in-Pulp) or CIL circuit experience for exciting opportunities in gold mining operations throughout Queensland.
About the Role:
You will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of gold processing plants. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help maximise production while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor gold processing plant equipment, with a focus on CIP/CIL circuits, adsorption, elution, and associated systems
* Perform plant startups, shutdowns, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance
* Conduct routine inspections, sampling, and quality control testing
* Carry out first-line maintenance and report issues through the maintenance system
* Work collaboratively with operators, supervisors, and metallurgists to achieve production targets
* Adhere to all site safety, quality, and environmental procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience as a Process Technician or Process Operator in gold mining (essential)
* Hands-on CIP (Carbon-in-Pulp) or CIL circuit experience (highly regarded)
* Strong understanding of gold processing flowsheets, including crushing, grinding, leaching, and tailings management
* A proactive, safety-focused mindset with the ability to work in a team environment
* Relevant tickets and certifications
* Availability for rostered shifts (various FIFO/DIDO rosters available depending on site)
Previous experience in Queensland gold operations is highly desirable.
