We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Door Technician to join our team in Perth, WA. As a full-time Fire Door Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire doors across a range of commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will be integral to maintaining the highest standards of fire safety in our community.
Responsibilities
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fire doors to ensure they are in full working order
* Identify and address any issues or defects with fire doors, making necessary repairs or replacements
* Provide detailed reports on the condition of fire doors and any recommended actions
* Liaise with clients and property managers to schedule and complete works in a timely and efficient manner
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all fire door maintenance activities
What we\'re looking for
* Experience within the fire protection service industry is desirable but not essential
* Demonstrated expertise in the inspection, repair and maintenance of fire doors
* Strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail to identify and address fire door defects
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients
* A commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of relevant fire safety regulations
* A valid driver\'s licence and ability to travel to multiple job sites as required
