**Job description**:
On behalf of a State Government Department, we are looking for a Business Support Officer to provide administrative support to required managers.
This role is a 12 month assignment based in Parramatta paying $50-$57 per hour + super.
**Duties will include**:
- Diary Management
- Utilising TRIM, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Providing accurate and timely business and administrative support functions to managers and staff, including document control management and functions to support delivery outcomes
- Coordinating and facilitating business support meetings, taking minutes, and following up on actions as required.
- Supporting tasks allocated by the team leaders to support management to ensure deadlines are met and undertake improvements where required.
**To be considered for this role you will demonstrate;**
- Strong administrative and/of office management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide information to and assist a range of stakeholders
- Competency with IT systems and excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience working in a Government setting would be advantageous
