About the Role
As Care Manager, you will oversee the delivery of high‐quality clinical and personal care across a medium‐sized residential aged care facility. Working closely with the Service Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a positive team culture.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading clinical and care teams to deliver safe, person‐centred care
* Overseeing care planning, assessments, and medication management
* Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements
* Mentoring and supporting nursing and care staff
* Collaborating on workforce planning, budgets, and operational improvements
* Driving a culture of accountability, compassion, and continuous improvement
About You
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
* Proven experience in a clinical leadership role within aged care
* Strong understanding of aged care compliance and quality standardsThe ability to lead, mentor, and engage teams in a smaller facility setting
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Full working rights in Australia
Local candidates are highly regarded, though relocation support (within Australia) may be considered for the right applicant.
