Job Description:
As a facilities manager, you will be responsible for creating safe, efficient and welcoming environments for students, teachers and school communities. This involves leading facilities management services across designated schools in the Redlands Bay area.
The role requires strong leadership skills to manage subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety and value. You will also be responsible for delivering services aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs) and contractual obligations.
Audits and compliance checks are an essential part of this role, focusing on workplace health and safety (WHS) and legislative standards. Additionally, you will need to manage site safety inductions and routine maintenance plans.
Effective communication is vital in this position, requiring strong interpersonal skills to interact with school staff, clients and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Subcontractors: Oversee subcontractors to ensure they deliver high-quality work that meets safety and value standards.
* Deliver Services: Ensure all services are delivered in line with KPIs and contractual obligations.

Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience in facilities management, maintenance engineering or asset maintenance.
* Strong Understanding: Demonstrate a strong understanding of WHS and FM systems.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* Flexibility: Be able to work flexibly in a dynamic environment.
* Blue Card: Hold a valid Blue Card for working with children.
