Event Coordinator Job Summary

This is a dynamic opportunity to work in events planning and coordination. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing conferences, meetings, and special events at our hotels.

* Plan and coordinate events from conception to completion, including room bookings, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
* Communicate with clients to understand their event requirements and deliver exceptional customer service.
* Develop event proposals, contracts, and pricing details for clients.
* Work closely with hotel teams to ensure seamless execution of events.


Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate logistics and setup for events, including decorating, lighting, and sound systems.
2. Manage event staff and vendors to ensure high standards of service.
3. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during events.
4. Maintain accurate records and post-event reports for clients and management.


Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably within a hotel environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
