About The Role We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our Engineering & Construction team, supporting the delivery of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through to commissioning.
In this role, you will:
Lead the development of process design for large‑scale treatment facilities and system upgrades, ensuring designs are technically robust, optimised for performance, and aligned with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
Support design coordination and procurement, construction, and commissioning activities, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule outcomes are achieved across multiple concurrent projects.
Play a key role in multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects within regulatory frameworks.
About You You are an experienced Process Engineer with a strong background in the design and delivery of water and wastewater treatment facilities within regulated environments. You bring a practical, delivery‑focused mindset and are confident working across the full project lifecycle. You are comfortable operating in multidisciplinary teams and have experience supporting projects in live environments. You combine strong technical capability with sound commercial awareness and are able to balance performance, cost, and constructability considerations.
Who We Are Looking For
Extensive experience delivering large‑scale water and wastewater treatment projects on time and on budget.
Strong capability in process design, including mass balances, hydraulic profiles, control narratives, PFDs and P&IDs.
Experience working across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
Proven ability to manage complex technical interfaces across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience contributing to HAZOP / Safety in Design and risk‑based engineering decisions.
Strong capability in technical problem solving and design optimisation.
Ability to support and guide less experienced engineers within project teams to meet project deadlines.
Highly regarded: Chartered status / RPEQ and experience leading process design packages.
