Our Austral Bricks Plant in Punchbowl, NSW, is looking for a dedicated Production Assistant to become an essential part of our team.
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will play a critical role in managing administrative tasks related to production, safety, quality, environmental compliance and training.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Data Management: Accurately enter data into spreadsheets and record-keeping programs.
• Safety Documentation: Issue necessary safety documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Training Compliance: organise / plan training as required.
• Safety Compliance: Conduct all activities safely, adhering to WHS policies and procedures.
• Audit Assistance: Support safety and environmental audit requirements.
• Quality Control: Assist with quality control tasks for the plant.
• Cross-Site Support: Provide assistance to other sites as needed.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare weekly performance figures, including P&L statements.
• Administrative Tasks: Manage filing, purchase orders, and stocktake card entries.Success Requirements
• Previous administration experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with a diverse workforce.
• Intermediate computer skills; particularly in MS Office.
• A basic understanding of WHS and environmental requirements is desirable.
• Some knowledge of budgeting and reporting is desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously and as an integral part of a team.
