Business Banking Manager
In the role of Business Banking Manager, you will join the Newcastle Specialised Team that's doubling down on customer obsession!
Key Responsibilities
* Own and grow a diverse business banking portfolio, with a strong focus on commercial real estate investors, small developments and SME clients
* Build deep, long‐term relationships with customers, brokers and professional networks to drive sustainable growth
* Identify new opportunities through commercial insight and business acumen, not just credit structuring
* Partner closely with internal specialists to deliver holistic financial solutions, not siloed products
* Contribute to a team driven, high energy environment where performance, collaboration and initiative are genuinely valued
Qualifications
* Background in business banking, commercial lending, credit, or broader financial services (Experience welcome, not a dealbreaker)
* Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client needs beyond the numbers
* A self‐starter mindset — motivated, proactive and comfortable using initiative
* Relationship led, team oriented and keen to be part of a high performing culture
* Comfortable learning technical components on the job — aptitude and attitude matter most
