We are committed to providing equal opportunity for everyone.
We are looking for a Quarry Materials Lead to take ownership of raw material supply across our NSW brick operations.
About The Role
Reporting to the National Raw Materials Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of consistent, high-quality and cost‐effective raw materials to our brick manufacturing sites across NSW.
This is a critical role — you will be the link between quarry operations, transport, and manufacturing, ensuring everything lines up to deliver the right product, every time.
Expect to spend time on site inspecting quarries, working with contractors, and engaging with factory teams — not sitting behind a desk.
What You'll Be Doing
* Safety, Compliance & Environmental Management: Oversee quarry and cartage activities to ensure full compliance with WHSE standards, mining regulations, and environmental licence requirements and hold responsibility and eligibility for nomination as Quarry Mine Manager for NSW quarry operations under the NSW Department of Mines regulatory framework.
* Raw Materials Supply & Quality: Maintain consistent supply and quality of raw materials, including on‐site inspections, selective mining checks, and collaboration with manufacturing teams.
* Contractor & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with outsourced mining and transport contractors, as well as regulators and local communities, to maintain strong, effective relationships.
* Cost, Productivity & Performance: Monitor quarry performance, manage spend, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs across the supply chain.
* Strategic Resource Planning: Contribute to long‐term raw material planning, including reserve management, sourcing strategies, and sustainability initiatives.
About You
* Experience in quarrying, civil, mining, or extractive industries (or a closely related field).
* Solid understanding of materials, land management, or excavation practices.
* Strong working knowledge of safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
* Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites and manage competing priorities.
* Confidence dealing with contractors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
* A practical, hands‐on approach — comfortable being out on site and in the detail.
Benefits
* Company vehicle.
* Flexible work arrangements.
* Attractive salary and benefits, including access to exclusive discounts and offers.
* Supportive and collaborative culture that fosters innovation and inclusion.
* Care and wellbeing offer includes up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave, 52 weeks of superannuation payment, and access to an employee assistance program.
* Rewarding career with on‐the‐job learning, development, and upskilling opportunities within and across our brands.
We have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety and the wellbeing of our people. Successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre‐employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and a background check.
