Check out our 90 second video at https://intium.com.au Position Overview: The Senior Program/Project Manager is accountable for the professional and strategic program/ project management and leadership including end to end delivery of specific projects or programs of capital and/or operational works within time, cost and schedule parameters in support of Intium’s Strategic Business Objectives and Strategic Asset Management Plans. Lead the development and implementation of specialist program initiatives, project, contract management services, with accountability for safe and efficient delivery including the support of defined works programs and projects through to engagement of complex and specialist contractors. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership to internal and external project teams, supporting performance management, mentoring, and career development to align with business goals. Oversee end-to-end delivery of assigned projects and programs, ensuring alignment with agreed methodologies, priorities, and standards, while managing risks, safety, stakeholder expectations, and compliance with legislative requirements. Manage project and program budgets, including accurate forecasting, procurement, tendering, and contract administration. Ensure efficient and safe contractor management. Ensure adherence to governance practices, including change control processes. Prepare detailed reports and business cases for senior stakeholders to inform progress and seek approvals. Contribute to strategic planning initiatives and ensure appropriate workforce planning and resource forecasting to meet delivery requirements. Drive continuous improvement through best practice project management and consistent use of business systems, processes, and tools. Promote and model behaviours aligned with respect, equity, diversity, and inclusion, in accordance with the Code of Conduct and company policies. About You We are seeking a highly experienced Power Systems professional with a strong background in transmission and distribution networks, and a proven track record of engineering leadership. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the National Electricity Rules (NER), and a thorough understanding of the roles and responsibilities of Network Service Providers (NSPs) and AEMO, particularly in the context of renewable energy integration. This role requires advanced proficiency in power system modelling and analytical tools to deliver innovative and practical solutions to complex technical challenges. A comprehensive understanding of the energy market, emerging technologies, and the regulatory and policy frameworks governing the utilities and infrastructure sectors is essential.
