A dynamic organisation based in South of Adelaide is seeking an experienced and proactive
ICT Support Officer

About the Role
The ICT Support Officer will provide high‑quality technical support, systems maintenance, and operational oversight to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of the organisation's ICT environment. Working under moderate direction, this role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a broad range of ICT tasks.
Key Responsibilities
ICT Operations & Support
* Provide responsive support for hardware, software, network, and device issues.
* Install, configure, and maintain ICT equipment, applications, and systems.
* Monitor and maintain networks, servers, cloud services, and applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
* Manage user accounts and device administration within Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
* Maintain accurate asset registers and documentation.
* Support device programs, including warranty and insurance coordination.
* Assist with cloud‑based platforms and system migrations.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection
* Manage access rights, permissions, and user security controls.
* Monitor, investigate, and record cybersecurity incidents.
* Enforce IT security policies and ensure user compliance with data protection standards.
* Manage SSL certificates across various systems.
* Conduct regular checks on backup systems and support restoration processes.
Audio Visual & Communication Systems
* Support and maintain AV, communication, and conferencing systems.
* Operate technology for organisational events and presentations.
* Support emerging technologies (e.g., VR devices, 3D printers, drones).
* Assist with website updates and telephony system setup and maintenance.
Collaboration & Improvement
* Identify opportunities for ICT innovation and operational improvement.
* Deliver training to staff to enhance digital capability.
* Participate in organisational initiatives, events, and ongoing professional development.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential
* Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar ICT support role.
* Strong technical competency across Microsoft 365 (MDM, Exchange, Teams).
* Ability to diagnose and resolve diverse ICT issues.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills.
* Ability to work both independently and in a small team environment.
* High discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
* Current certifications required - Working With Children Check
Highly Desirable
* Experience with Cisco or Ubiquiti networking systems.
* Knowledge of Altaro/Veeam backup technologies.
* Familiarity with cloud‑based business software platforms.
* Basic understanding of telephony systems (3CX, NEC) and WordPress.
