About the Role
We're looking for a Sous Chef who knows how to lead a kitchen that's both high‐performing and deeply human. You'll work alongside our Chef de Cuisine to bring our restaurant to life. This is a hands‐on leadership role — on the pass, in the detail, and with the team.
Responsibilities
* Lead service across all outlets, from breakfast to evening dining
* Support menu development with a focus on seasonality and local influence
* Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across every dish
* Train, mentor, and inspire junior chefs
* Manage ordering, stock control, and kitchen organisation
* Uphold food safety and hygiene standards with precision
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
* A refined approach to food — technique‐driven, detail‐oriented, and creative
* A natural leader who builds calm, focused teams
* Strong understanding of modern food trends and classic foundations
* The ability to move with service while keeping standards high
* A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
* Must already have full and ongoing working rights for Australia
