Albury Wodonga Health requires Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team on Surgical Ward 2. Surgical Ward 2 is a 30-bed unit specializing in pre and post-operative care for elective (ENT, urology, plastics, general surgical, vascular) and emergency surgery/trauma patients. Primary responsibilities include general nursing duties, monitoring and observation pre and post-operation, IV & CVAD management, comprehensive patient assessment, escalation of deterioration, complex wound management, and multidisciplinary care planning. Scholarships may be available for relevant postgraduate studies such as acute care certificate & wound management. We are a great team and would love the opportunity to work with you.
* Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Demonstrates a person- and family-centred approach to decision-making and care planning activities.
* Ability to work as a team member within a multidisciplinary environment
* Understanding of WHS legislation as it relates to employees' responsibilities
* Experienced Registered Nurse
