We are seeking applications for an experienced accountant to join our Head Office team, a role pivotal to our ongoing success and the company's future.
Your new role
You will be leading a small team to implement our financial strategy, overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, payroll, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as execution of internal control policies and procedures.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
* Implementing and monitoring financial plans and growth objectives
* Monthly financial reporting and analysis
* Maintaining internal accounting controls
* Overseeing all financial operations including AR, AP and payroll & cashflow management
* Job costing & WIP
* Working closely with project managers
* Optimising cashflow & utilisation of financial resources
What you'll need to succeed
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role with a strong preference for relevant industry experience in Construction or similar
* Advanced tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business-related discipline
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for the operational team
* Advanced user level knowledge of Xero and Excel
* Knowledge & experience within Procore software would be highly regarded
* High Levels of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy at all times
