Your New Role
We are looking for a dedicated, energetic and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team on a full-time basis located in our Brisbane office.
Bring your flexible, Can-Do attitude to work every day and enjoy being part of an amazing team. As well as having experience in a similar role, some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Visit customers, both potential and existing to gain and retain business.
• Prepare quotations for services for both potential and existing customers and sales order forms as required.
• Market the Hellmann Network and qualify prospective customers via telephone or in person.
• Performance appraisal of staff and attend and participate in Quality meetings.
• Gain new and maintain existing clients of Hellmann and undertake any other duties as required by Branch Managers/Directors.
• Drive new business in assigned vertical, formulate new business develop plan based on target industry segment or targeted regions.
• New business development with focus on Contract Logistics products and meet objectives and budget on new business gain.
• Work on RFQ/RFP responses, manage the bid process and work closely with solution team.
• Collaborate with global/regional BD team and handle sales lead properly.
• Manage and develop customer relationships, develop growth strategy for customer.
• Conduct contract negotiation and renewal with customer.
• Manage customer escalations, incl. customer's requirements, concerns, complaints and service issues, and work with operation team in developing resolutions.
• Conduct regular business review / QBR with assigned customers for continuous service improvement.
• Conduct analysis on customer's P&L and KPIs to identify focus area for improvements.
• Anticipate proactively customer needs and changes and offer corresponding new solutions. Provide regular updates to senior management on customer's initiatives and strategies to facilitate developing strategic account development plan.
• Work closely with solution & CI team to identify and achieve CIP for major customers.
• Work closely with RDC and Region to monitor and follow up KPI, stock count, POD return, audits and corrective actions to achieve the target from customer.
• Support GDP compliance if needed.
Customer service is crucial in this role which means you will need to exercise a level of professionalism and understanding when it comes to customer needs.
What You Need
We will help you be successful in this role. To start you will need:
• 5 years experience in International Freight Forwarding Industry
• Professional sales skills, good interpersonal skills and teamwork
• Great communication skills with high attention to detail
• Attention to detail for warehouse compliance a necessity.
• Prior experience with ABF 77G licence and RACA TSP procedures an advantage.
Your professional presentation and communication skills, along with true passion for providing exceptional customerexperiences will play a major role in achieving success, both professionally and personally.
