**About the Role**:
We are looking for an Interior Designer, with proven experience working in a commercial design environment, to join the Melbourne Studio as part of our award-winning National Interior Design team.
Our interiors team work on projects individually and collaboratively, managing a project from end to end, including basic documentation in Revit across multiple sectors including workspace, commercial, education, and retirement and lifestyle living.
Vital to our success is our ability to communicate designs through all mediums including Revit and Enscape, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketchup and more progressive design technology such as VR.
You will become part of our fun-loving, dedicated and creative team of over 100 Design Professionals in our Melbourne Studio including Architects, Interior Designers, Architectural Technicians and Graphic Designers.
Getting to work is a breeze as we are located within 5 minutes' walk from Southern Cross Station and Bourke and Collins street trams. In addition, we have secure onsite bike parking and outstanding change facilities with lockers and free towel service!
**About you**:
Ideally you have experience working in Workspace and Commercial sectors and are looking for an opportunity to grow and push the boundaries on exciting, large-scale projects.
As a national Revit firm, you will need strong Revit skills and an ability to produce drawings up to an acceptable level for design development.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial interior design practice
- Solid Revit skills
- An understanding of the fundamental BCA's and related building regulations and specifications
- Strong presentation and rendering skills; experience with Sketchup, InDesign, Photoshop, Enscape, and Rhino will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated proactive and collaborative approach to projects
- Ability to work on more than one project as required
