Atherton Hospital is a 56-bed acute rural inpatient facility located on the southern Atherton Tablelands. Atherton Hospital provides medical, surgical, and maternity services to the town’s approximately 8,000 residents. It also offers a wide range of specialist outpatient services and extends its support to rural communities through outreach programs.

About your new role:
In your new role you will……
* Provide high quality clinical care to hospital in-patients and patients at rural clinics.
* Assist the Director Medical Services, Atherton Hospital in the development of safe medical practice and optimising clinical skills for medical and nursing staff.
As a Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service employee, not only will you receive competitive base salary up to $274,678 per annum full time (L18 – L27) or up to $216,643 per annum full time (L13 – L18), you will also have access to:
