Job Title
A Business Risk Analyst is sought to join our team. This role requires expertise in identifying and assessing business risks, as well as providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
Responsibilities
* Domain Knowledge: Credit risk metrics, regulatory processes, including stress testing, IFRS9, and regulatory capital requirements.
* Business Analysis Expertise: Proven experience in requirements elicitation, process mapping, and transformation projects.
* Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills; SAS coding experience preferred.
* Testing & Delivery: Hands-on experience with UAT, SIT, and Agile/hybrid delivery models.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and negotiation skills across business and technology teams.
* Change Management: Ability to anticipate operational impacts and ensure business readiness.
* Tools Proficiency: JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Visio, MS Office suite.
* Communication Skills: Clear documentation and presentation abilities; visual communication for diagrams/slides.
* Teamwork: Collaborative mindset; ability to guide junior analysts and foster positive team culture.
Your Profile
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain great relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Prior experience in project risk management.
* 7+ years financial services experience in risk, compliance, assurance or audit.
* Knowledgeable in NFR Hub and other risk toolkits.
* Technology/information security/Cloud experience.
* Good knowledge of Excel skills, with an eye for details.
