Our Role
We are looking for a Operator to join our hardworking team at our Galong site, The town is a short drive from Yass, Young and Harden. Reporting to the Site Production Supervisor, you will be operating forklifts and front-end loaders, loading trucks, completing bagging, and operating the kiln and hydrator plant.
Duties include:
- Aid the controller in the operation of the kiln and hydration plants,
- Complete general plant operation and basic maintenance; and,
- Collect and test samples in the lab for quality assurance.
As the successful candidate, you:
- are a flexible team player who likes to work self-sufficiently, balances and delivers on team and personal objectives safely and efficiently following safe work practices
- have forklift operation experience; Front-end loader and lab testing experience is desirable
- are computer literate with attention to detail and experience in a manufacturing environment
