The Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) is an Australia Government statutory corporation that coordinates and invests in research, development and extension to create enduring profitability for Australian grain growers.
Applications are sought Australia wide for non-executive directors for up to a three year term, commencing in October 2026. Candidates must be able to demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following fields:
* grains production, processing or marketing
* communication and public relations
* environmental and ecological matters
* scientific research and development
* extension and adoption
* innovation and commercialisation
* conservation and management of natural resources
* technology and data (including artificial intelligence)
* development and delivery of complex, strategic corporate plans
* finance and business management
* public administration
* research and investment management
* strategic human resource management
The preferred candidates should have strong communication skills and an understanding of contemporary corporate governance and responsibilities, including board experience.
