About the role As an HSET Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance across a major civil and NPI (Non-Process Infrastructure) capital project within the mining sector. This is a hands-on position where you will work closely with site teams to drive a positive safety culture, implement HSE initiatives, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: Provide HSE leadership and support across the mine infrastructure project Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations Ensure compliance with WA safety legislation and company policies Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to site personnel Promote a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on HSE matters What’s on Offer? 18-month contract with strong potential for extension (potential up to 5 years) Opportunity to work on a major mine infrastructure project Sleep in your own bed every single night Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays 10 hours per day DIDO role | YOU MUST LIVE LOCALLY Superannuation Contribution on ALL hours worked | Paid Monthly Dedicated Senior Consultant for Candidate Care Weekly Pay Access to Chandler Macleod’s EAP Programme About You: Proven experience as an HSE Advisor on Civil and NPI projects within the mining | heavy industry sector Greater than 10 years in similar field or position Greater than 2 years of demonstrated Auditing Experience Strong understanding of WA HSE legislation and mining safety requirements Excellent communication and leadership skills Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent) Experience in incident investigation and risk management Ability to influence and drive a safety-first culture If you're a dedicated HSET Advisor with experience in mine infrastructure, civils, and NPI projects, and you're looking for a long-term opportunity in the Peel region of WA, we want to hear from you!
