We are seeking a seasoned Financial Director to oversee the in-house finance function, ensuring seamless day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, compliance and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
 1. Financial Planning & Reporting
 * Maintain accurate and timely financial records, including transactions, reconciliations and reporting across multiple business units.
 * Oversee cash management, EFTPOS, cheque, ATM payments and invoicing processes.
 * Manage accounts payable and receivable for two businesses.
 * Prepare and submit statutory reports in adherence to regulatory requirements.
 * Deliver Board reports with variance analysis and commentary.
 * Cash flow management and preparation of detailed commentary for Board review.
 2. Risk & Compliance Management
 * Evaluate financial risks and advise the CEO on mitigation strategies.
 * Ensure robust and compliant financial systems are in place.
 3. Strategic Planning & Leadership
 * Conduct financial analysis and insights to support long-term planning and business growth initiatives.
 * Mentor junior finance team members.
 * Oversee payroll and review contracts.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
 * Prior experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
 * Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations and cash flow management.
 * Demonstrated expertise in compliance reporting.
 * Background in risk management and financial systems oversight.
