This is a unique opportunity to work for a Principal Contractor with a large pipeline of work. This builder is synonymous with delivering quality projects via a professional well‐managed construction process. They work across a range of industries from high‐rise residential, commercial, retail, government and fitout / refurbishment. Typically, projects are from $10m – $100m and they have an array of strong blue‐chip clients that award them repeat / negotiated ECI work without having to tender in the open market.

Our client seeks a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join their leadership team and oversee two live jobs with full site teams on them. This is a growing business with a reputable track record of professionalism and repeat business from clients who constantly approach them to build their projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of Project Managers, Contract Administrators, Site Managers, Project Engineers and Site Staff to deliver projects on or ahead of expectations while maintaining the highest safety standards.
* Be proficient in all contractual matters and communicate this knowledge practically and effectively to the team.
* Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, consultants and end users.
* Plan and program labour, plant and equipment in accordance with construction program requirements.
* Develop and review construction planning.
* Monitor progress, ensure high quality workmanship and techniques, and report regularly to the construction manager on performance against company objectives.
Key Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
* Proven industry experience on $50m+ projects, preferably in residential and commercial new build.
* Local Sydney experience with a reputable Tier 1 or Tier 2 principal contractor.
* Absolute commitment to safety and the well‐being of self and others in the workplace.
* Proven leadership and management experience.
* Polished approach when dealing with clients.
* Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills; effective team‐player abilities.
* Sound computer skills: Jobpac / CHEOPS, Microsoft Project, Excel & Word.
