Perioperative Nurse Unit Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Perioperative Nurse Unit Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced surgical environment.
This full-time permanent position involves overseeing clinical and operational aspects of the department, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care and efficient use of resources. The ideal candidate will possess extensive leadership experience, strong communication skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of clinical and operational aspects of the perioperative department
* Leadership and management of staff, including nurses and support personnel
* Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care
* Development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
Requirements:
* Degree in Nursing or related field
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Minimum 5 years' experience in perioperative nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
