An opportunity exists for an Associate Electrical Engineer to join a leading engineering design consultancy. This role involves working across a diverse range of building services and infrastructure projects, including commercial developments, healthcare, education, and transportation.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the design, delivery, and management of electrical systems, while providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level engineer to step into a client-facing, leadership position while continuing to develop technical expertise on complex projects.

Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
* Extensive experience in building services / MEP design within a consulting environment
* Strong technical expertise in power distribution, lighting, building automation, and energy efficiency solutions
* Proven ability to lead projects and multidisciplinary teams through design and delivery phases
* Experience engaging with clients and stakeholders, with a track record of successful relationship management
* Proficiency in relevant design and modelling software
* Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills
Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead the design and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across large-scale projects
* Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
* Act as the primary client interface, providing technical and project leadership
* Review and oversee design packages to ensure compliance with standards and sustainability objectives
* Mentor junior engineers, fostering professional development and technical growth
* Contribute to business development activities and support in winning new projects
