OverviewThis role involves Emergency Department staffing at Tasmanian public hospitals. Travel and accommodation are provided where applicable. All rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable. Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner. This is an accredited teaching hospital network with multiple sites, including Mersey Community Hospital and other facilities in North West Tasmania and King Island. ResponsibilitiesWork a mix of day, afternoon, and night shifts as specified by the posting. Ward rounds and clinics as part of the general ward duties. Emergency Department duties including admissions and management of urgent cases as applicable (e.g., Code Stroke, Code Blue, MET). QualificationsPGY3+ doctor with Emergency Medicine experience (as indicated in postings). Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
