Salary range: $62.61 - $67.53 p.h. (PO4)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
Emergency Department Physician Assistants (EDPA) perform a clinical role within the Townsville University Hospital Emergency Department (TUH ED). EDPA's provide clinical services of a complex and critical nature, working collaboratively, and independently as negotiated with their supervising Consultant or Delegate. Operating within the clinical governance framework of QHEALTH, EDPA's practice includes the assessment, diagnosis and management of both acute and fast track patients, with triage categories 2 to 5 (inclusive) in the TUH ED.
Requirements:
Possession of a bachelor's degree or higher qualification from an Australian University PA program, or, from an international accredited Physician Assistant training program.
Participation in rosters that require shift work for the provision of out of hours care at night, and on weekends.
