The hourly rate for a first-year apprentice is $28.25. We welcome both mature age and female applications.

Garden maintenance involves the upkeep and care of outdoor spaces. This includes tasks such as mowing lawns, pruning plants and cleaning garden features. Garden maintenance is an important aspect of landscape construction and requires attention to detail and physical fitness.
Irrigation systems involve the installation and management of water supply systems for gardens and outdoor spaces. This includes installing pipes, pumps and other equipment necessary to supply water to plants and flowers. Irrigation system management requires knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems as well as an understanding of plant requirements.
Training and Development:
* Apprentices will gain hands-on experience in garden maintenance and irrigation systems
* Apprentices will learn about landscaping principles and techniques
* Apprentices will develop skills in teamwork and communication
* Apprentices will gain a Certificate III in Horticulture or Landscape Construction
