Job Description
What You'll Be Doing
* Responding to community safety enquiries and complaints
* Enforcing local laws and relevant Acts (Dog, Cat, Bush Fires, Litter, Parking)
* Conducting patrols of council buildings, parks, and reserves
* Investigating and managing animal-related incidents
* Issuing parking infringements and promoting compliance
* Delivering education programmes within the community
* Using mobile technology and GPS for field operations
* Supporting the Animal Care Facility and related duties

Qualifications
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a community-minded Ranger with a passion for safety and service. You'll ideally bring:
* Certificate in Municipal Law Enforcement or relevant experience
* Experience in local government law enforcement
* Strong animal management and handling skills
* Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
* Ability to interpret and apply local laws and policies
* Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* National Police Clearance (under 3 months)
* Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence
