CEA Ltd is seeking an experienced Adult LLN (Language, Literacy and Numeracy) teacher/trainer to join our team on a part-time basis 3 days per week (22.8 hours) in Toowoomba, QLD. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high‑quality vocational training and education to adult learners, helping them develop the essential skills they need to thrive in the workforce or continue on to further education.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver LLN training to youth and adult learners in accordance with SEE program requirements.
Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to diverse learner needs.
Maintain accurate records and complete program‑related administrative tasks.
Support learners in achieving vocational and educational goals.
Design and deliver engaging and effective adult LLN lessons and workshops.
Assess students' skills and progress, and provide tailored support to help them achieve their learning goals.
Collaborate with the wider education team to continuously improve the curriculum and teaching methods.
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in adult LLN education and incorporate best practices into your teaching.
Provide support to students and address any barriers to their learning.
Required Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) – mandatory.
* A relevant teaching or training qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Education, Graduate Diploma in Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy, or equivalent).
* ESL/TESOL qualification is desirable.
* Demonstrated experience in training adult learners, preferably in LLN contexts.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse learners.
* A passion for helping adults develop the skills they need to succeed in the workforce.
