At Jubilee Community Care, we believe great care starts with genuine relationships. For more than 30 years, we've worked alongside older people, families and the community across Brisbane's western suburbs, supporting people to live safely, independently and with dignity in their own homes.

Jubilee Community Care is a not-for-profit community aged care service provider, located in Indooroopilly. We provide in home care and support services for elderly clients to assist with their independence in living in their own home.

This new role has recently been created on our leadership team and will work collaboratively across all functions of the business and particularly with our clinical care team. The role of Care Manager is also currently being recruited.

About the role

Ideally you will have a clinical background, and will lead the client services team who provide end to end client engagement, including:

* Developing client engagement plans and signing up new clients

* Understanding the needs and required support for potential clients

* Ensuring our rostering team are scheduling our support workers to meet client demand

* Overseeing client activities and outings to ensure they are timely, engaging and meet client needs

* Engaging with our support workers to ensure we are providing personalised, quality care

* Ensuring the organisation is on the front foot with any legislative changes and requirements

* Auditing and review of our service quality

* Investigating any complaints and identifying areas for improvement

What you will bring to the role

* Current Queensland nursing registration

* 3–5 years’ experience in a similar leadership role within community aged care

* Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, regulations, and funding models, particularly Support at Home

* Business acumen to meet our financial obligations

* Demonstrated understanding and application of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality care principles

* Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage, support, and develop your team

* Strong organisational, relationship management, and influencing skills
