New Opportunitiesfor experienced Electricians with experience on various mine sites. You will be working in a mining and resource hot spot, so experience in these environments is a necessity. You will be in a service based role - predominantly in repairs and maintenance. Prevention of any disruption to ongoing works is the key.
Experience and Requirements:
* Perform high voltage electrical repairs in the open-cut mining environment in New South Wales
* Maintain electrical wiring to ensure power supply to the mine site is uninterrupted
* Perform high voltage electrical repairs and maintenance of mobile mining equipment in accordance with maintenance and safety procedures
* Maintain transformers, motors and electrical controllers
* Use electrical equipment to trace and diagnose faults
* Strong commitment safe work culture
* Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components.
* Installing electrical equipment and electronic components in mining plant and equipment
* Relevant Trade Qualification & Licencing (Required)
* NSW Supervisor Certificate or Individual Contractors Licence
* At least 3 years fulltime work experience in a similar role
* Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence
* Sound understanding and commitment to WH&S and electrical awareness
* Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
* Ability to pass an Order 43 Medical
* Working at Heights (Preferred)
Pay and Conditions:
* Base Rate: $35/hr
* $20-$35/hr in allowances based on experience and role
* Total hourly rate: $55/hr - $70/hr
* Full time employment with rostered mining hours
