Business Administrator/Executive Assistant
Harness Master NSW is a growing manufacturing business supplying wiring harness solutions across mining, rail, agriculture, aerospace, and other industries. We are looking for a highly organised Business Administrator & Executive Assistant to join our team and support our Managing Director and Operations Manager.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is proactive, and can keep business operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level support to the Managing Director and Operations Manager (calendar, meeting coordination, travel, correspondence).
- Manage company compliance registers (insurance renewals, vehicle registrations, workers comp, licences, OH&S; audits).
- Assist with tender documentation, client submissions, and general business paperwork.
- Coordinate recruitment activities (Seek ads, shortlist applicants, organise interviews).
- Support onboarding of new employees (contracts, inductions, file management).
- Supervise and provide guidance to office administration staff (currently Reception/Administration, with oversight of any future office hires).
- Maintain and update staff and business records.
- Liaise with outsourced HR and OH&S; providers when required.
- Assist with internal communication, meeting minutes, and follow-up actions.
- General office administration support, including purchasing, filing, and supplier liaison.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in administration, executive support, or office management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience with HR admin, compliance tracking, or tenders (desirable but not essential).
