We are currently seeking a suitably qualified ROPE ACCESS TECHNICIAN. The role includes but is not limited to:
Carrying out standard rope access operations to perform inspection, maintenance, repairs and other industrial work while on ropes.
Perform rope access work in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
Implement appropriate standards of safety and quality control in Rope Access activities.
Implement testing where required / requested.
Operate equipment such as pneumatic drills, telehandler, light vehicle and service trucks.
Responsible for all Rope Access activities and personnel under supervision.
Ensure all Rope Access equipment is maintained and complies with the company's safety procedures.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and maintenance schedules.
Qualifications & Requirements
Trade qualification (IRATA Certification or equivalent).
A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment.
Working at Heights and Confined Spaces (essential).
Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence (desirable).
Elevated Work Platform (desirable).
Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment.
At least minimum 2 years of proven experience in the same field.
Physically fit.
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
Strong communication skills and teamwork skills.
Reporting skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites.
Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable.
Great work ethics.
Salary
Between $75,000 and $80,000 per annum + Super.
