As a Triage Claims Consultant, youll be at the heart of our claims experience, supporting customers during their time of need. Youll be the first point of contact in lodging and setting up the claim for success, ensuring fair and timely outcomes while delivering exceptional service. This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Hurstville, Sydney).
What You'll Do
Interact with customers to assess each claim individually and ensure correct, fair action.
Keep customers informed throughout the claims process via phone, email, and other channels.
Research, analyse, and validate property insurance claims using information from customers and suppliers.
Liaise with suppliers and repairers to ensure timely replacements and repairs.
Manage settlement of claims within delegated authority and maintain accurate records.
Resolve customer issues and follow dispute resolution processes when required.
What You'll Bring
Strong customer service skills and experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, hospitality).
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change.
Negotiation skills and computer literacy.
Insurance experience highly regarded.
